Did you know that your sleeping position could be adding years to your age? The way you sleep can put unnecessary stress on your skin, leading to premature ageing.

According to experts, sleeping with your face pressed down onto your pillow can crease your skin and form wrinkles, particularly in the cheek and chin area. This can lead to deepening wrinkles over time, making them harder to treat or conceal.

So, what's the best sleeping position for your skin? Sleeping on your back is the way to go, as it completely avoids face-to-pillow contact. To make this position more comfortable, try tilting your lower body to the side and laying your upper body flat on your back.

But don't worry if you're a side sleeper - you can still take steps to reduce the impact on your skin. Try alternating sides as you sleep and reducing your face-to-pillow contact. With practice, you can make this change and start seeing the benefits for your skin.

So, from tonight, make a conscious effort to change your sleeping position and give your skin the best chance to stay young and healthy.
