On October 24, 2019, a disturbing social media post went viral, with a 27-year-old woman named Dorothy Alota accusing Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha of threatening to beat her.
According to Dorothy, she is two months pregnant with Professor Magoha's child, but he has allegedly threatened to physically harm her.
“He knows the consequences of doing it raw but he still wants to rough me up for an action that I did not commit alone,” Dorothy said in an emotional press conference.
She pleaded with the public, the press, and authorities to intervene and restore sanity between her and Professor Magoha, adding that she cannot imagine raising a professor's child alone with her limited financial resources.
