Published on October 24, 2019, KCB Ladies volleyball team is in top form ahead of their trip to Kapsabet Town for the final round of the Kenya Volleyball Federation League outing.
Head Coach Japheth Munala returns to steer the team through the league encounter and tournament trophy over the weekend.
Notable players expected to dazzle include new signing Ernestine Akimanizanye, alongside Malkia stars Noel Murambi, Violet Makuto, Lorine Chebet, and Leonida Kasaya, who returns after guiding the country to an 11th position finish during the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup.
“The chemistry is right and we are working with great concentration ahead of the two league matches, we will take our opponents seriously,” said Munala.
The KVF 7th league outing will be played on Friday, October 25, with KCB squaring off against Kenya Army and Bungoma County ahead of the Nandi Governor’s cup at Kapsabet Show ground.
With 345 points amassed so far, KCB is leading the KVF standings ahead of DCI, Kenya Prisons, and Kenya Pipeline.
