Diamond's Producer Denies Quitting Wasafi Label, Explains Absence

Published on October 24, 2019

Eyo Lizer, a renowned record producer at Wasafi, has denied rumors of quitting the label. The producer, popularly known as Eyo Lizer, has been associated with the Diamond Platnumz-owned record label.

According to Lizer, he was absent from the Wasafi studios due to a bout of malaria, which kept him indoors for three weeks. He clarified that he was not experiencing work-related stress, contrary to rumors.

"No, I didn’t have stress. I remember when I was sick another producer had to do my work. I was indoors for three weeks because it was malaria," Lizer explained in a recent interview with Wasafi media.

He also addressed rumors that he had left the label because he doesn’t post photos with Diamond on social media. Lizer stated that he is not photophobic and doesn’t need to post photos to prove his association with the label.

"I’m not photophobic. I don’t really need to post, I don’t even have a photo with Diamond. Most times, I do work with him and Tanasha and I don’t take photos. Tanasha is fresh, we are just working very well," Lizer said.

Additionally, Lizer spoke about witchcraft, stating that he believes in black magic. However, he clarified that he has never been bewitched and has never thought about it.
