Chelsea extended their winning run to seven matches in all competitions after securing a 1-0 victory over Ajax in a Group H Champions League match at Amsterdam Arena on October 23, 2019.
Michy Batshuayi scored the only goal of the match in the 86th minute, thumping the shot in off the bar after benefiting from Pulisic's cross.
Chelsea are now level on points with the Dutch side in Group H, having collected five wins in all competitions in the last five matches.
Frank Lampard made just two changes from the squad that stunned Newcastle 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last weekend, with Mateo Kovacic replacing the injured Ross Barkley and Callum Hudson-Odoi earning his first start of the season.
The tactical tweak proved critical for the Chelsea side as Hudson-Odoi nearly handed the visitors the lead in the 27th minute, only for the Englishman to fluff the chance.
