Three Women Arrested with Fake Euros Worth KSh 102 Million in Githurai, Nairobi

On October 23, 2019, a sting operation in Githurai, Nairobi, led to the arrest of three women in possession of fake Euros worth KSh 102 million.

According to the DCI, the women were apprehended after a thorough search of their residence, where the fake currency was found.

The DCI statement read: "After conducting a thorough search at the residence of the three women, we were able to seize Euro 880,090 in counterfeit currency, which will be used as evidence against them."

The three women, Rose Wambui, Mary Muthoni, and Tabitha Muhuha, are currently being held as the investigation continues.
