Barcelona's highly anticipated match against Real Madrid has been rescheduled for December 18, following safety concerns due to protests in Catalonia.
The match was initially set for October 26 but was postponed due to exceptional causes. The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has now agreed to set December 18 as the new date for the match.
According to the RFEF, the decision was made after analyzing proposals from both clubs, as well as reports from the Area of Competitions and the National League of Professional Soccer.
Ernesto Valverde's side will face a tough period leading up to the match, with games against Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, and Inter Milan scheduled before the clash.
