Bandari FC Heads to Guinea for Caf Confederations Cup Playoff

On Wednesday, Bandari FC jetted out of the Mombasa International Airport, bound for Conakry, Guinea, in preparation for their Caf Confederations Cup first leg playoff tie against Horoya FC.

The team, led by coach Bernard Mwalala, flew out at 1:00 PM, accompanied by a squad of 20 players.

Among the players selected for the trip were goalkeepers Wanyika Michael and Mustapha Oduor, as well as David King'atua, Shaban Kenga, and danger men Yema Mwana and William Wadri.

Bandari FC was paired with Horoya FC in the Caf Confederation Cup playoffs following the draw held in Cairo, Egypt, two weeks ago.

The team will be seeking a win to have a healthy chance of advancing to the money-minting group stage.

  • Goalkeepers: Wanyika Michael, Mustapha Oduor
  • Defenders: Fred Nkata, Atariza Amai, Felly Mulumba, Brian Otieno, Daniel Guya, Duncan Otewa
  • Midfielders: Collins Agade, Cliff Kasuti, Siraj Mohammed, David King'atua, Abdallah Hassan, Shaban Kenga, Danson Namasaka
  • Strikers: Darius Msagha, Yema Mwana, William Wadri, Wycliffe Ochomo, Benjamin Mosha
