Kenya's business landscape has witnessed a significant shift in the way companies approach employee satisfaction and happiness levels. A recent report by Brighter Monday has revealed the top companies to work for in the country, with Bidco Africa emerging as one of the top 50 best employers in Kenya.

According to the Brighter Monday Best Companies to Work For 2019 Report, published on October 23, 2019, Bidco Africa ranks 31st overall, making it one of the top companies in the country. In the manufacturing category, Bidco Africa comes fourth after East African Breweries (EABL), Coca-Cola, and Unilever.

With over 25,000 employees across its regional operations, Bidco Africa has demonstrated its commitment to providing a positive work environment for its employees. The company's recent launch of its Ksh20 billion Industrial Park in Ruiru has created 1,000 direct and 5,000 indirect jobs throughout the Bidco distribution chain.

As the market leader in the edible oils and fats categories in Kenya, Bidco Africa also manufactures hygiene and personal care products, including bar soaps and detergents. The company's focus on employee satisfaction and happiness levels has earned it a spot among the top companies to work for in Kenya.

Respondents to the Brighter Monday survey were asked to rank 10 extrinsic traits according to importance, with Strong Relatable Company Values and Goals emerging as the top trait, followed by Open and Effective Management, Flexible Hours, and Transparent Performance Management.
