On October 22, 2019, a horrific incident occurred in Sunton, Kasarani, where a five-year-old boy was allegedly molested by a man identified as Didas Mwita.
According to a police report under OB number 20/22/10/2019, the boy's mother claimed that Mwita not only molested her child but also stole electronic equipment from their house.
The mother, who wishes to remain anonymous due to the sensitive nature of the case, told Nairobi News that she discovered her child in pain upon returning home from work and immediately took him to the hospital.
She further stated that Mwita, who hails from Migori county, could not be reached on phone, and she is hopeful that the police will apprehend him.
Interestingly, Mwita describes himself as a humble and God-fearing man on his Facebook page.
