On October 22, 2019, the Miss Universe Kenya beauty pageant crowned its winner, with Stacy Michuki taking the top spot.
Coming in second was Aggry Dion Okello, better known as Celly Rue, the daughter of singer Akothee.
Celly Rue's determination and confidence impressed fans, who engaged with her on social media throughout the competition.
She shared videos of herself, including a striking photo on the runway in a one-piece swimsuit, captioned, "Confidence is the best jewelry a woman can put on??? Own your body and above all have fun in every situation???"
