On October 25, DR Congo's Motema Pembe arrived in Rwanda to prepare for their CAF Confederation Cup match against Gor Mahia in Nairobi.

After being relegated to the second-tier competition, Gor Mahia will face Motema Pembe in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup match on October 27.

According to a report by the Daily Nation, citing Congolese daily newspaper Lessential, Motema Pembe president Vidiye Tshimanga has warned his team against engaging in witchcraft ahead of the match.

Tshimanga is said to have axed people he believes have been practicing witchcraft, and the team is now on high alert to prevent any further involvement in the practice.

Meanwhile, this will be the DR Congo's first trip to Kenya in over 20 years, with their last visit coming in 1994.

Gor Mahia will be looking to win the match to increase their chances of qualifying for the next round of the competition, with the second leg of the fixture slated for November 3 in Kinshasa.
