Deputy President William Ruto has found himself at the receiving end of a blistering attack from Miguna Miguna, a self-proclaimed revolutionary leader.
On Wednesday, Miguna released a video on his social media handles and YouTube, in which he accused Ruto of corruption and infidelity, claiming that the DP has over 20 children with different women, including Raila Odinga's sister.
According to Miguna, Ruto's controversies date back to the early 1990s when he joined KANU after his studies at the University of Nairobi. He alleges that Ruto, along with former presidential candidate Cyrus Jirongo, became KANU's vicious youth leaders in 1992.
Miguna also accused Ruto of forgetting his Christian values and peasant background, and instead embracing a life of corruption and infidelity.
It is worth noting that Miguna had previously spared Ruto during his attacks on Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta, citing Ruto's position as Deputy President. However, it appears that Miguna has now changed his stance and is targeting Ruto directly.
