Published on October 23, 2019, smart toys have evolved from a niche industry to a thriving business, with annual sales projected to reach $11.3 billion by 2020, according to UK-based analyst firm Juniper Research.
The Mi Robot Builder, a building and coding robotic toy, is one such innovation that allows kids to develop their own codes and build different models using creative thinking. Manufactured by Aiqi, a company specializing in smart hardware and robotic products, the Mi Robot Builder is now available on Amazon.
With 978 bricks made from a mechanical transmission structure, the robot can be remotely controlled by the Mi Robot Builder app via Bluetooth. Kids can command the robot in three different control settings – joystick, gyroscope, and route control – and create their own set of instructions for the robot to follow.
The Mi Robot Builder also features a high-power motor and a built-in photoelectric encoder, allowing for accurate speed and direction. If motor stalling occurs, a protection mode is automatically triggered to prevent the motor from overstraining.
By introducing kids to technology and problem-solving at an early age, the Mi Robot Builder inspires creativity and encourages a passion for science and technology.
