A 7-year-old boy, Akif Malik, has been missing since Sunday, October 20, 2019, after he was picked up by two men who claimed to be his uncles.

According to eyewitnesses, the men had been camping in the estate where the family lived for a week before the boy went missing.

Before his disappearance, Akif told his friends that the men had promised to buy him sweets and take him to some places.

He also disclosed to his friends that he had seen other children sleeping inside the car owned by the two men.

Multiple eyewitnesses claimed the car, a Toyota Vitz, had been parked in the estate since Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

The occupants of the car, who hardly left it while in the compound, often asked about the boy.

Akif's parents, Rashid Malik and Ruhina Malik, reported the matter at Kondele Police Station on Sunday, October 20, 2019, under OB number 06/20/10/2019.

However, in an interesting turn of events, the management of the estate changed all the guards from a new security firm just a day after the seven-year-old went missing.
