Kenyan champions Gor Mahia are gearing up for their Caf Confederation Cup playoffs against Congolese giants DC Motema Pembe, with the latter scheduled to arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Friday.

Motema Pembe are currently in Rwanda for a three-day training camp, having departed Kinshasa on Monday.

Gor Mahia CEO Lordvick Aduda confirmed in an interview with Citizen Digital on Tuesday that the match officials from Algeria would be arriving on Friday morning, having received their air tickets.

“They (Motema Pembe) are currently in Rwanda for training and will be arriving on Friday at a time yet to be confirmed but we are ready for them come Sunday,” Aduda said.

Aduda also announced that tickets for the match would be available online, with terrace tickets retailing at Sh 200 and Sh 2,000 for VIP.

The team is expecting skipper Kenneth Muguna and Joash Onayngo to be available for the clash, after they missed Gor’s weekend league win over Kariobangi Sharks for various reasons.

“The coach spoke to them and they promised to be back in training on Tuesday afternoon, they are very important players to our team and its important to have them for this crunch tie,” Aduda said.
