Kenya's Best Employers Revealed ¶
According to a report by Brighter Monday, Royal Media Services has been ranked as the 23rd best employer in Kenya, climbing 44 places from its previous ranking of 67.
The annual report, titled 'Best 100 companies to work for 2019', ranks the top employers in the country based on a survey of employees and the general public.
Leading telecommunications operator Safaricom retained its top spot as Kenya's best employer, with East African Breweries coming in second place.
United Nations, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Limited, and Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) closed out the top five spot in the list.
The report used a total of 3,448 valid responses from two surveys: an external survey targeting the general public and an internal survey focusing on employees working at numerous companies in Kenya.
The survey found that the majority of respondents were aged between 25-35 and 18-24, lived in Nairobi, and held a Bachelor's degree.
