On October 22, 2019, a unique beer brewed using bacteria from a woman's private parts was set to land in Nairobi, pending a local distributor.

The beer, known as Yoni, was first brewed using bacteria collected from Czech model Alexandra Brondlova.

According to Wojtek Mann, the brewer, a bottle of Yoni costs between 9 EUR / 10 USD (around Sh1,000) and is a sour ale, dry like a wine.

"Our target are self-confident men who want to experience new things," Mann explained, adding that the beer is designed to evoke a sense of intimacy and sexual life.

"We isolate, examine and prepare lactic acid bacteria from the vagina of a unique woman, bacteria, lactobacillus, transfer woman's features, allure, grace, glamour, and her instincts into beers and other products," Mann said.
