Manchester United Vice Chair Ed Woodward has finally spoken out about the viral video that sparked intense speculation about his future at the club.

On September 22, Manchester United suffered a 2-0 defeat to West Ham, with a video emerging of Woodward seemingly having a heated exchange with defender Phil Jones.

However, in an interview with United We Stand, Woodward clarified that Jones was actually discussing some of the decisions that went against Manchester United during the match, not Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's future.

Woodward explained that Jones was talking about whether certain decisions were offside or not, and that he was actually speaking to Rebecca Britain, the club secretary, about a potential yellow card.

Manchester United are currently struggling, lying 14th in the Premier League table, just two points off the relegation zone.

The club will look to bounce back from their recent struggles when they face Partizan in a Europa League clash in Serbia on October 24.
