Kenyan musician Otile Brown has taken to social media to address the reasons behind his break-up with ex-lover Nabayet.
According to Otile, the split was not due to financial issues, as Nabayet was born into a wealthy family and money was never a motivator for her.
Instead, Otile blames scandals for being a major obstacle in his quest to settle down, as ladies often judge him wrongly.
He even went as far as composing a song, titled after Nabayet, in which he emotionally revealed the reasons behind their break-up.
In the song, Otile claims that Nabayet left him because she thought he was cheating, but it was only a test.
He has since asked Nabayet to come back, promising to settle down with her if she wants to.
However, Nabayet seemed to suggest that damage had already been done and very little of the relationship could be salvaged.
She appreciated Otile's effort but made it clear that it would take more than a song to heal and rekindle their relationship.
