On October 21, 2019, Arsenal suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United in a Premier League match at Bramall Lane.

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra tore into Arsenal's performance, branding them 'babies' and stating they 'don't look like a winning team.'

Evra made these remarks on Monday Night Football, appearing as a pundit.

Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka responded to Evra's criticism, saying, 'A lot of people speak too much. I have a lot of respect for him because he was a great player, but you have to be careful what you say.'

Xhaka also pointed out that many people, including footballers, need to be cautious with their words, adding, 'He knows these situations well, but it's not only him. A lot of people speak a lot of bulls and it's always the same.'

Evra had previously referred to Arsenal as 'my babies' ten years ago, but still saw them as 'babies' after their recent performance.
