On Monday, a men's conference was held in Eldoret, Kenya, where speakers shared their experiences and advice on how to live a healthy and successful life.

Organized by Mr. Kochei, the event aimed to empower men who are 'grappling with an identity crisis', as Mr. Kochei put it.

Each participant paid Sh2,000 to attend the event, where they were treated to words of wisdom from experienced speakers.

One of the key speakers, Jacob Kibor, regretted that many young people are dying from lifestyle diseases and alcoholism.

'The secret to long life is eating healthy and strong adherence to traditional food,' Mr. Kibor said.

He also advised young people to work hard and avoid depending on their parents' wealth.

'Whose wealth do you want to enjoy if you can't look for yours?' Mr. Kibor posed.

Mr. Kibor's words of wisdom were not limited to his advice on family life and wealth creation.

He also spoke about the importance of taking care of one's health, saying that he has managed to stay healthy despite his advanced age.

'If you go to my farm now, you cannot believe it belongs to an old man like me,' Mr. Kibor said.

Other speakers at the conference included Bishop Jackson Kosgey, who spoke about the importance of good mentorship and habits in shaping the role of men in society.

Mr. Kochei said that the event was a success, and that more of such forums will be held regularly.

However, not everyone was pleased with the conference. Some women were reportedly uncomfortable with their men attending the event, fearing that Mr. Kibor would be a bad influence.

Mr. Kibor, who has been in the news recently for his divorce and his decision to marry a fourth wife, was also taken to task on why he always breaks the law on the streets of Eldoret by declining to pay parking fees.

'I'm a senior citizen of this country, and I deserve some respect,' Mr. Kibor said.
