Published on October 21, 2019, a disturbing case has come to light involving Calvin Nyachoti, a respected High Court Advocate.
According to the victim, Esther, Nyachoti threatened to expose men in his DMs who were trying to solicit sex after she revealed her age.
Esther further revealed that the corporation secretary at Kenyatta National Hospital reached out to her on social media, sending her a message that read, 'I can help with the horniness.'
It is alleged that Nyachoti, who sits on the Women on Boards Network, used his name and profession to initiate an intimate conversation with a minor.
As a respected member of the legal community, Nyachoti's actions are considered ironic and shameful, particularly given his profession and public roles.
He is married with a daughter and holds various positions, including Council member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK) and Committee member and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya Branch).
Relevant bodies are urged to treat such cases seriously and mete out applicable punishment to individuals like Nyachoti.
