On October 21, 2019, a public spat between Weezdom and Diana Marua made headlines after Weezdom accused Diana of forcing him out of Bahati's record label, EMB.
Weezdom claimed that after Bahati started dating Diana, he was forced out of the label, citing that Diana made sure he exited professionally and as a brother.
However, Diana responded to Weezdom's claims, stating, 'I barely knew you, our only encounters were just but hellos… you turned against me even without knowing who I was, not that it even mattered to me, anyway. But our paths crossed again and now you are blood.'
Despite the tension, Diana wished Weezdom well in his career endeavors, saying, 'I’m proud of who you are becoming. May God use you as his own mouthpiece to speak life. Let’s build this empire and see each other win. Weezdom, the only way right now is upward and forward.'
