On January 21, Caity Mason, 25, visited her doctor with stomach cramps, unaware that she was carrying a child. The doctor's unexpected news left her in shock.

Ms Mason had been drinking heavily in the weeks leading up to her delivery and had been engaging in rough sports, unaware of her pregnancy. She had not experienced any external signs of pregnancy, including a baby bump or morning sickness.

After being told she was 35 weeks pregnant and 10 centimeters dilated, Ms Mason was rushed to the hospital and gave birth to her son, Flynn.

Speaking to The Sunday Project, Ms Mason recalled the sudden and unexpected turn of events: 'It wasn't even 24 hours' notice. I was in complete and utter shock. It was just like, 'how far along am I?' Clearly far along, because I hadn't been with anyone for a very long time.'

Ms Mason later posted on Facebook, 'So I have some very big news! Much to my surprise I'm expecting a baby....no joke! Needless to say I'll be here till further notice. I'm very excited and shocked but I have great support around me.'
