On October 21, 2019, a shocking incident occurred in Naivasha, where a 40-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her 18-year-old husband to death.
The victim, a fisherman, was stabbed in the chest after a dispute at their home in Kasarani village, where the couple had been cohabiting for the past year.
A neighbor reported that the couple had a history of fighting, but the incident on that day was particularly serious.
‘The woman grabbed a knife and stabbed the husband on the chest. He died before he could be taken to hospital,’ the neighbor said.
Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru confirmed that the suspect was being held at Naivasha police station and that initial investigations pointed to murder.
‘The body has been collected and taken to the local mortuary. The suspect will be arraigned on Tuesday to face murder charges,’ Waweru said.
