Former Attorney General Charles Njonjo has been at the center of attention in recent days, with many Kenyans calling for his appointment to a state position.

According to a recent Gazette Notice, several individuals have been appointed to state positions, including former Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso's widower Edwin Abonyo.

However, many Kenyans feel that Njonjo, who is 99 years old, deserves a state appointment, citing his rich experience and qualifications.

As one Twitter user pointed out, 'Ask him to consider the youthful Sir Charles Njonjo. He is only 99y/o with very rich cv.'

Another user suggested that Njonjo would make for a good candidate for the open board positions at KFS, stating that 'He is 99 years old, that is all you need.'

It remains to be seen whether Njonjo will be appointed to a state position, but one thing is certain - he has the support of many Kenyans.
