On October 19, Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati urged Deputy President William Ruto to resign from the Jubilee Government and join the opposition.
Arati claimed that Ruto's actions were a clear indication of his dissatisfaction with the prevailing peace in the country, citing his frequent attacks on the good working relationship between ODM leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru.
He further accused Ruto of being in panic mode since the handshake between Uhuru and Raila in March 2018, and of being good at crisscrossing the country to throw jabs at Odinga while defying Uhuru.
Arati's comments come as the UhuRuto marriage has been under siege, with the union breaking into two contrasting groups.
