On Sunday, Andy Murray secured his first ATP title in two-and-a-half years by defeating Stan Wawrinka in the European Open final in Antwerp.

Former world number one Murray, who underwent hip re-surfacing surgery in January, made a remarkable comeback from a set and a break down to win 3-6 6-4 6-4.

The 32-year-old Murray, who had seemed set for retirement after losing at this year's Australian Open, showed no signs of physical problems as he battled back to claim a 46th career title.

It was Murray's first title since March 2017, when he was still the top-ranked player in the world.

"It's amazing to be back playing against Stan in a final like that, he was playing unbelievable," Murray said on court.

"I never expected to be in this position so I'm very happy," he added.
