On October 20, 2019, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho threw a lavish party to celebrate and honor over 200 heroes and heroines, including world record holder Eliud Kipchoge and Brigid Kosgei, at the coastal city.
The list of invitees included notable personalities such as Sports CS Amina Mohamed, Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris, and Mvita MP Abdullswamad Shariff Nassir.
World record holder Eliud Kipchoge, who jetted in on Saturday ahead of the Mashujaa day Celebrations, was captured on camera having a wonderful time at the party that was oozing with class.
Together with the Woman Rep, the living legend swayed to music, singing along to patriotic songs.
