Esther Passaris Defies Ageist Comment on Birthday

On October 20, 2019, Nairobi County Representative Esther Passaris celebrated her 55th birthday, marking a significant milestone in her life.

However, her joy was short-lived as a Kenyan took to Twitter to ask her to hide her thighs, suggesting that she should dress according to her age.

"Happy Birthday. But from now on, wear clothes that match your age, leave those miniskirts and thighs for young girls. You are either," the Kenyan tweeted.

Passaris, however, was not one to be swayed by the comment. She responded with a classic retort, saying, "I have the right to wear what I want at my age. If you think you're wise, stop giving advice to people who are older than you," she tweeted.

Passaris has never been one to shy away from expressing herself, and her response to the ageist comment was no exception. She used the hashtag #mydressmychoice #mavaziyanguchaguolangu to emphasize her point.

Passaris has been known to wear outfits that showcase her confidence and style, and her response to the comment was a testament to her unwavering spirit.

As she celebrates another year of life, Passaris remains unapologetic about her fashion choices, and her response to the ageist comment is a reminder that age is just a number.
