Rudisha, who is also a Chief Inspector in the National Police Service and a former traffic officer in Iten, posted a video on his Facebook page showing him firing a few shots at the gun range.
In the video, Rudisha is seen smiling and having fun as he fires the gun, with the caption 'Go out do something and have fun. Happy Mashujaa Day.'
The video sparked outrage on social media, with many questioning Rudisha's actions as a police officer and a national hero.
