Published on October 20, 2019, Raila Odinga Jr has strongly denied claims that he has been in an intimate relationship with Lwam Bekele, the widow of his late brother Fidel.
According to Raila Jr, the allegations are founded on lies, malice, and buffoonery. He emphasized that he has not been in a romantic relationship with Lwam, despite her being described as 'sexually seductive and yummy.'
He dismissed a 32-second video clip featuring him and Lwam, kissing and stripping themselves naked, as a photoshopped image intended to malign his good name and compromise his integrity.
Additionally, Raila Jr distanced himself from the drama, stating that he cannot recall the last time he sat with Lwam and that he has his own girlfriend, whom he is loyal to.
He criticized media platform users for being 'stupidly rush to air information that seem too personal, without any proof.'
