Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from a difficult start to the season when they face Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is facing a major squad selection crisis due to injuries sustained during the international break.
Goalkeeper David de Gea, who has been struggling with a groin injury, was spotted checking into the Manchester Lowry Hotel ahead of the match, suggesting he may be in contention for a starting place.
Anthony Martial, who has missed the last eight matches with a muscular injury, is also showing signs of recovery and could feature against the Reds.
However, Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw are unlikely to have recovered in time, and Solskjaer will have to make do without them.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has missed the last three matches, could also be in line for a starting role to enhance the team's backline.
The confirmed Man United squad against Liverpool is as follows:
- Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant
