On October 19, 2019, Wazito FC suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Kakamega Homeboyz, losing 4-2.
Wazito FC president Ricardo Badoer was left unimpressed by his side's performance and took to Twitter to air his frustration.
He accused his players of lacking flair throughout the game, comparing them to a meal that had been left to sit for too long.
Badoer's tweet read: 'Congrats to Kakamega Homeboyz for their win. They deserved it while our defense looked like they spent too much time at KFC. I apologize to our fans and promise we will work on making the changes needed.'
Johnstone Omurwa scored a brace for Wazito, but it was too little, too late, as the team slipped to their second defeat of the season.
The defeat leaves Wazito in 13th place, with six points from six games, while Kakamega Homeboyz leapfrogged Tusker to fourth place.
