Real Madrid's Spanish La Liga clash against Mallorca on October 19, 2019, will see Eden Hazard missing in action. The Belgian winger joins Gareth Bale and Luka Modric in being left out of the squad for the match at Iberostar Stadium.
According to reports, Hazard was excused from the match after the birth of his fourth child. This is not the first time Hazard has been absent from Real Madrid's squad, as he did not play in the team's first three league games of the campaign.
Eden Hazard joined Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, completing a €100 million ($112m) switch from Chelsea. He returned to action mid-September and has since featured six times in both La Liga and the Champions League.
Despite his absence, Real Madrid's attack line is expected to feature Karim Benzema, Luka Jovic, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Brahim Diaz. The pressure will be on Los Blancos to put up a performance without their star players, particularly after rivals Barcelona snuck to the La Liga summit with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Eibar earlier on Saturday.
