As of October 19, 2019, the Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a warning of sustained rains across the country over the weekend, amidst ongoing floods that have left a trail of destruction in their wake.
The department has also issued an advisory over strong south easterly winds projected to hit Isiolo and southern parts of Marsabit counties, with wind speeds of 12.5 meters per second and above expected.
