Former Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has been plagued by injuries throughout his career, and his latest setback has left fans and pundits alike questioning his luck.

Welbeck, who joined Watford in the summer, suffered his 12th injury in his Premier League career after just 55 seconds into a match against Tottenham on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

According to reports, Welbeck was making his third appearance for the Hornets since joining from London side Arsenal, and injuries have been synonymous with his game since then.

Welbeck has missed a significant number of games due to injuries, including 41 games during the 2018/2019 season, which was largely due to an ankle injury that kept him out for most of the season.

Despite his struggles with injuries, Welbeck will be encouraged by his side's resurgence, as they managed a 1-1 draw with Tottenham, who are struggling for form in the new season.

Spurs fans were quick to taunt Welbeck on social media, saying they were not surprised by his latest injury, with one fan tweeting, 'They are not surprised.'

Welbeck's injury has sparked a debate about his luck, with some fans questioning whether he is indeed the unluckiest player in the Premier League.
