Kenya's national rugby sevens team, Shujaa, will face a stiff test in the main Cup quarter-finals of the Safari Sevens on Sunday at RFUEA ground.

Shujaa completed their day one action flawless, crushing Zambia and Russia Academy 31-0 and 41-0 before wrapping up their Pool “C” outing with a 19-7 victory against Blue Bulls from South Africa.

On the other hand, Kenya's Morans will take on French side Seventise in the Cup quarter-finals.

Shujaa's impressive performance saw them top their pool, while Morans and KCB won two matches and lost one each but had done enough to qualify for the Cup quarters.

Seventise, coached by former Kenya Sevens player Ted Omondi, topped the pool after they had previously whacked Zimbabwe 24-0 and Spain 14-0.

Shujaa's victory over Blue Bulls was thanks to a brace of tries from debutante Mike Okello, with David Taabu managing one.

Earlier, Bush Mwale had landed a hat-trick of tries as Shujaa annihilated Russia Academy, with Nelson Oyoo adding a brace of tries.

Shujaa's skipper Andrew Amonde also crossed the line for Shujaa's 29-0 lead at the break, with Daniel Taabu converting two of the tries.

Fixtures for the main Cup quarter-finals are as follows: South Africa v KCB, Kenya Morans v Seventise, Samurai v Russia Academy, and Kenya Shujaa v Red Wailers.
