Published on October 19, 2019, a study by Lelo UK shed light on the sex lives of various professionals, sparking curiosity about the habits of journalists.
According to the study, farmers were at the top of the list, with over 33 percent claiming to enjoy sex once a day. In contrast, journalists were found to have the least sexual activity.
However, a poll conducted in a newsroom revealed a different story. Over 95 percent of the journalists surveyed said they get enough sex, with some even joking about the frequency of their encounters.
One journalist quipped, 'When you hear there's a team-building, just know sex will go down. Actually, always carry condoms just in case.' Another confessed, 'There is a lot of screwing the crew that happens in-house. I suspect our only challengers would be PR firms and politicians.'
While the study's findings may not be representative of all journalists, the poll results suggest that sex is not a rare commodity in the newsroom. As one journalist humorously put it, 'If money were not the problem, I would love to bed many girls. The lifestyle writer says that money is the number one contraceptive.'
It's worth noting that the study was not conducted in Kenya, and the results may not be applicable to the local journalism industry. Nevertheless, the poll results provide an interesting glimpse into the sex lives of journalists.
