Published on October 19, 2019, Tanzanian gospel star Rose Muhando has opened up about a traumatic experience she had with a manager several years ago.

According to Muhando, the manager wanted her to engage in sexual activities that went against her Christian beliefs. When she refused, the manager retaliated by claiming she was a drug addict and a devil-worshipper.

Speaking to a radio station, Muhando revealed that she had been kidnapped several times by people she did not name and forced to take oaths at gunpoint. However, she did not disclose the details of the oaths or the demands made by her captors.

Despite the traumatic experience, Muhando remained resolute, saying, 'I did not want to be a slave to sexual sin, to date, that is my stance. You can all get lost and take everything I own. They even created a massive scandal because I refused to be propositioned by them. God was still with me. He knows my end.'

Her words were met with an emotional response, as she broke down in tears during the interview.
