Published on October 19, 2019, Kenyatta University has issued back to school dates following a week-long closure due to student unrest.

The university administration has set different dates for students to return to school and for classes to officially start. Students pursuing engineering, health sciences, and architecture are expected back on Monday, October 21, with classes starting the following day.

Those pursuing agriculture, security, environmental, economics, creative and performing arts, media studies, hospitality and tourism courses will return on Tuesday, October 22, with classes starting the next day.

Lastly, students pursuing pure and applied sciences, Education, Humanity and Social sciences are expected in the school on Wednesday, October 23, with classes starting the following day.

The university has also issued strict back to school rules, including a Sh500 fee to cater for damages, registration for respective courses by October 31, and adherence to the issued back to school dates.
