Published on October 18, 2019, Rose Muhando, a Tanzanian gospel musician, has expressed her disappointment and frustration with church workers who have been using her name for their own gain, without her permission or presence.

According to her representative, Daud Mashimo, Muhando is planning to take legal action against the church workers who have been misusing her name in their advertisements and promotional materials.

Muhando has stated that the church workers have been claiming that she would be present at their events, but she has not been attending any of them, which has caused her name to be associated with false and misleading information.

She has denied allegations that she is involved in idol worship and the use of illicit substances, calling them mere rumors spread by people who do not wish her well.

"Rose will be accompanied by her lawyer, and a notice of 14 days will be served on Tuesday, October 29. After that, she will take some of the church workers to court who have been claiming that she would be present at their events, but she has not been attending any of them," Mashimo said in a statement.
