On October 5, 2019, a man identified as Naftali Njora was charged with assault after he tried to buy biscuits from a shop in Soweto, Nairobi, without paying for them.

The biscuits were from a well-known brand called KDF, which is popular in Kenya.

According to Nairobi News, Njora admitted to trying to buy the biscuits without paying for them, but claimed he was just joking.

However, the shop owner, Eunice Njeru, refused to sell the biscuits to Njora because she knew he did not have the money to pay for them.

When Njora tried to buy the biscuits, Njeru refused to sell them to him and instead called the police.

As a result, Njora was arrested and charged with assault.

During his court appearance, Njora apologized for his actions and asked for forgiveness from the court.

The court ordered Njora to report back to the police on October 31, 2019, for further questioning and to submit a report to the court before he can be sentenced.
