As the local gospel industry faces turbulence, several artistes have been working on new projects to end the year on a high.
One such project is the upcoming album 'Utanitosha' by Papa Dennis and Mr Dawa, set to be launched in Nairobi next week.
Ringtone's song 'Walionicheka' has been a hit, garnering 1.4 million views on YouTube and turning into a church anthem across the region.
Other notable gospel artistes who have kept the industry going include Guardian Angel, Jabidii, Moji-Shortbaba, Laura Karwirwa, Wahu, and Size 8, as well as Mercy Masika, the queen of the gospel industry.
