On October 18, 2019, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's five-month-old son Archie made his first appearance at a playgroup in Windsor, marking a significant milestone in his young life.

As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the annual Wellchild Awards in central London, Meghan shared the exciting news with a young girl and her mother, saying, 'I just took Archie for his first [playgroup] class. It was a lot of fun. He loved it.'

The royals stopped to chat with Milly Sutherland, 11, and her mother Angela, 50, at the Royal Lancaster hotel in central London, where they were celebrating the inspiring winners of the Wellchild Awards.

Angela revealed that Meghan had taken Archie to a baby class earlier that day and that they had 'loads of fun together.' Meghan also joked with Harry about Archie's hair, saying he had red hair, which Harry agreed with, pointing out that it was visible in his eyebrows.

Milly, who received the Most Caring Child Award for her dedication to her sister Sophie, who had Aicardi Syndrome and tragically passed away in 2018, was thrilled to meet the couple and described their encounter as 'boss!'

Angela, who was visibly emotional after meeting the duke and duchess, said it was 'amazing' to see her daughter Milly receive the award and that it was 'quite emotional' given the circumstances.
