On October 12, 2019, the community lost a devoted advocate for children with special needs, Mrs. Waithira Gacangi Kiruthi, who passed away after a long illness in Rockville, Maryland, USA.
Her funeral service will take place on October 24, 2019, from 11:15 am to 1:00 pm at Rockville Presbyterian Church, located at 215 W. Montgomery Avenue, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The parking lot is accessible from the rear on Harrison St.
Following the service, a funeral procession will depart from Rockville Presbyterian Church to Parklawn Memorial Park, where the burial will take place at 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, Maryland 20853.
