Comedian Eric Omondi has been confirmed as the father of Jacque Maribe's five-year-old son, Zahari, after the journalist posted photos of their family celebrating his graduation on Thursday.
Maribe, a former Citizen TV news anchor, captioned the photos: 'Family first. Happy graduation day, Zahari. We, mum and dad @ericomondi, are proud of you.'
Until Thursday, there were contradicting reports on who is the father of Maribe's son, with some claiming blogger Dennis Itumbi was the father of the boy.
Maribe and her fiancé, Joe Irungu alias Jowie, were last October charged with the murder of Kenyan businesswoman Monica Kimani, but Maribe was freed on bail.
