Qatar Airways has intensified its presence in Kenya's coastal city of Mombasa, increasing its flights to five times a week. This move, effective from December 20 to March 27, is set to boost tourism and trade between the State of Qatar and Kenya.

According to the airline's group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, the increased frequency will allow passengers to explore Mombasa's wonders and locals to enjoy Qatar Airways' extensive global network of over 160 destinations.

Qatar Airways will deploy an Airbus A320 aircraft on the Mombasa route, featuring 12 business class seats and 120 economy class seats. The additional flight on Fridays will depart Doha at 02:30hrs, arriving in Mombasa at 08:40hrs, and then leave Mombasa at 16:50hrs to arrive in Doha at 23:05hrs.

Mr. Al Baker emphasized that this increase allows for further growth and strengthens the bonds between the State of Qatar and Kenya.
