TV Host Tony Gachoka Charged with Causing Public Nuisance

On October 17, 2019, TV host Tony Gachoka was arraigned at the Kwale Law Courts for allegedly causing disturbance at the Diani Airstrip.

According to the charges, Gachoka refused to be screened at the airstrip checking point and attempted to force entry into a Silverstone aircraft while carrying alcoholic drinks.

He was also accused of being found in a state of intoxication at the airstrip as a result of alcoholic consumption.

Gachoka denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of Ksh.50,000.

The case will be heard on October 25, 2019.
